At Palettia, we create curated art experiences for absolute beginners — truly zero-experience guests who have never held a brush before. Our workshops are gentle, playful, and confidence-boosting. With clear step-by-step guidance, you’ll paint a beautiful artwork while discovering stories of famous artists, simple techniques, and the feeling of seeing the world through an artist’s eyes.

What to expect on PALETTIA's painting nights in Vancouver
1. YOUR CREATIVE PLAYGROUND
When you arrive, you’ll see a well-prepared setup: with easels and canvases, clean brushes, palettes, and water — just like in a professional artist’s studio! You can choose any seat you like — if you came together, you’re seated together.
2. A PEEK BEHIND THE MAGIC
The process is step-by-step, separated into multiple stages, so you have time to enjoy each step and chat with the people you came with. Each workshop begins with an acrylic intro and explanation of today's artwork. You’ll see the final piece example in front of you, and an empty canvas ready for demonstration.
3. SPLASH, SCRIBBLE, SMILE
Now it’s your turn! Following the demonstration, you start painting, exploring colors and shapes. The environment is designed to be fun and relaxed, with playful elements that keep the energy light and allow you to connect with friends. And if you want extra fun while layers are drying - there are small art-related activities available for you!
4. STEP BACK, SIP, ADMIRE
Feel free to grab a last cup of coffee or a glass of wine, step back, and look at your painting from a distance like professional artists do. Take your time to add any final touches and notice the areas you like the most. While you wait when paints are drying it's a good time to right a review and thank us for the work.
NEXT DAY
You’ll get an email with pictures taken during the painting night, if any. Feel free to post them on social media and tag us! New painting designs are shared regularly, so you might be interested in making a new unique piece for your interior.
